Times flies, these two weeks past by in a flash! Today is the last day at QUBS, which means its time to say goodbye. After breakfast, some went back to the cabin to pack and others stayed to help with the cleanup. We left gifts for Frank in front of his office door and took photos with Veronica. When we had to bid farewell to Steve, everyone was very emotional and some even cried. It was an unforgettable for all of us, especially the Chinese students.
Before lunch, the large group was separated into two groups. All of the Canadian students and few Chinese students headed for Kingston, while others stayed for lunch. We met up later at the Queen’s University to load luggage. Six of the student left for Toronto early while the rest of the group stayed and toured more of Kingston in the afternoon. Both group had pho for dinner, what a coincidence!
The Canadian part of the course is drawing close to the finale. During these two weeks we created so much memory and learned a great deal of biology. At the same time, we can’t wait for exciting Chinese part of the course!
