We drove to Queen’s this morning. When we got off the car, a few seagulls flew over our head, which made us very excited. Few minutes later, we realized that there was no need to be excited at all since the seagulls at Queen’s is as common as sparrows at Fudan. What’s more, they are both brave and are not even slightly scared by people. We could see squirrels or even chipmunks every now and then.
There are three museums at Queen’s. So there’s no need to get up early trying to have a seat. We were really jealous about that. Let alone the beautiful decoration and nice furniture.
We also visited some of the labs, which are really impressive. We had a great time in Steve’s office, where he keeps snakes. It was cool to hold the snake.
At noon, we had a picnic on the grass near Lake Ontario, where we enjoyed the wonderful scenary. The strong wind and waves, the seagulls flew across the sky is impressive.
In the afternoon, we got on a ship and enjoy a wonderful journey.
When we drove back to QUBS, Yuxiang Wang stopped on the way and show us beautiful scenary. It rained terribly soon after we got off the car, but the experience is still so cool.
What an impressive day!
